Merry Christmas from the Burgett Family!!!! I hope you and yours had a wonderful holiday together. Our Holiday turned out busier than we expected, but it was still a really nice time with family.
Riley wasn't super excited about the presents or the party when it came to Christmas... What Riley Joy couldn't wait for was her, "Tismas Eve-a Dwess!" It has been hanging on the closet door for a couple of weeks...And she'd go to it daily saying "So tute!!!! Its beautiful!! Prwetty!!!!" and then eventually "Put on, peeease!!! Wear it!"I told her it was her Christmas Eve dress and she could wear it in a few weeks....days...soon...On my Birthday she went to bed asking to wear it and I told her that when she woke up it would be Christmas Eve and she could wear it to the party. The next morning we were all snuggling in bed and we asked Riley what day it was she sits up, "TISMAS EVE-A WEAR DA DRWESS!!!!!" and she jumps out of bed goes to the closet and begs "put on, pease!!!" We got her her wait until after she had a bath before the party. :0) She put the dress on and she twirled and fluffed the skirt, she was so proud of her Tismas Eve-a Dwess!

This is what we got for asking her to stand in front of the tree so we could take a picture of her dress. LOVE toddler logic, SHE was in FRONT of the TREE- what else could we mean? ;0)

Onto the next week of celebrations. We celebrate 4 years of marriage on the 30th and Riley Joy turns TWO on New Years Eve AND we ring in the New Year!!
