So Ryan has kindly been getting up and bringing Riley to me for her middle of the night feeding. He generally stumbles over to her crib and brings her back to me and is back to sleep before I have her latched on. Well last night she started screaming hysterically when Daddy picked her up. I was so out of it, and she stopped as soon as she was in my arms so I figured it was just "one of those things" or because Daddy was the one who got her instead of Mommy.
Well this morning we slept through Ryan leaving for work. But he just called on his lunch break and told me what happened...Last night when he picked Riley up he couldn't figure out what he was doing wrong, she was screaming and she sounded funny. By the time he got to the bed he realized he was holding her by her legs and had been carrying her upside down!!!!!!
Only my husband!!! Had to share, made me laugh.

mark and i are dying laughing right now, picturing riley hanging upside down (i mean that in the nicest way, not laughing at poor Riley but at the situation!) ryan must really have the routine down at night- it seems like when you get so used to doing something- you can do it in your sleep without really noticing what is going on! ha ha, great story!
