Last night was kinda a rough night. Riley has officially caught my cold, and though it definitely doesn't seem to be as severe, she still is waking up every few hours in the night whining with a stuffy nose... So we have to do the whole unpleasant process of saline drops and clearing out her nose, and a bit of baby vapor rub to help her breath. I hope this is the last round of bug for the winter.
On top of having a cold this has left me very tired and not at all ready to wake up when Riley Joy wants to greet the day. But this morning was different. I woke up to "mmmmmmmwaaaaaa...mmmmmmmwaaaaaa mama!!! Mmmmmmwaaaaaaaa!" and warm little kisses all over my back. She kissed me for a while and then crawled over me to her Daddy to share some love with him.
A wonderful way to wake up!!!!!!!
She has been in an extremely kissy mood the past 2 days, EVERY thing gets kissed...Her books, the door, the dog, our legs, her food. It is so cute. We're going to try to get a video of it today.
